The Teufel Kompakt series represents a new speaker system concept based on the motto: "Maximum home cinema sound from minimum size speakers". After all, you don't need big speakers for big sound. The Kompakt 30 is the first generation of this extremely living space friendly system: four low-profile yet superb sounding satellite speakers combined with a horizontal micro centre channel speaker and a compact subwoofer with massive bass power.

This surprisingly small set with luxurious high-gloss black finish is capable of serving as the perfect audio foundation for a compact home cinema in your living room. The system can easily saturate any room or room section with an area of up to 20 sqm with high quality sound. The four easy-to-handle satellite speakers, centre channel speaker with dual midrange drivers and stylish, cubic active subwoofer can be connected to any standard AV receiver and produce a level of Dolby Digital/DTS sound more than capable of competing with significantly larger and more expensive home cinema systems.

In contrast to Teufel's similarly sized concept systems that can be connected to PCs, the Kompakt 30 is optimized exclusively for home cinema use in every respect. The set includes a subwoofer with its own built-in amplifier and satellite speakers with massive gold plated screw terminals.

Inside the subwoofer, which rests on vibration dampening spikes, you will find a 250 mm resonating chassis with an extremely wide rubber surround, the quality of which is unheard of in this price class. The combination of rich sound, a stable MDF enclosure from which vibration is barely detectable, a precisely engineered bass reflex opening and high output power allows the subwoofer to generate a low and dynamic bass whose pure power and accuracy are setting new standards for this class of speaker system.

The 2-way satellite speakers include 80 mm midrange drivers and a 20 mm high performance dome tweeter to guarantee perfect sound quality and excellent dynamic behaviour. They can be wall mounted without additional accessories. To allow vertical and horizontal movement, we recommend the new Microlock wall bracket. The same holds for the centre channel speaker, which contains an additional midrange driver for particularly wide horizontal sound dispersion, and hence excellent speech intelligibility.

The acoustic combination of satellite speakers and subwoofer produces a level of sound quality that is unmatched at this price. Whether watching DVD film or listening to music on CDs - every nuance of signal is faithfully reproduced.
